Life at St Morris is just so convenient; family can visit easily, and shopping is to be enjoyed. Magill Road and Glynburn Road transport are just a short walk, or take a 10 minute drive to the Adelaide CBD, Burnside Village or to The Parade at Norwood, with their charming boutiques, cafes and theatres. Our residents are often seen out walking in the village and surrounding areas, going out to bowls or a family visit, or just chatting at the letterbox. You will always feel close to a friendly face.
The Village
The main village is situated in the heart of Adelaide's Eastern Suburbs on the site of the historic St Morris Primary School with picturesque gardens, in this delightful quiet residential locality.
The village Community Centre provides the focus for many of our residents to enjoy some social activity, participate in playing cards and board games, or just chat or read in the lounge. It can also be used for resident's private family functions.You can choose to be involved or not, at whatever level you wish.
Some of our residents attend craft groups; are involved with service clubs, church groups and local bowls clubs, whilst others are more at home "being at home".
The Gardens
You can enjoy pottering in your own garden, where you might want to entertain family or friends, or just relax with a cuppa. It's nice to know that the village gardens and pathways are all carefully tended by our gardener, and all village maintenance is kept up so things are always looking their best.
