“Retired and nearly 70! So what do I do with the rest of my life? I decided I would like the freedom and security of community living and boy, did I make the right decision. Carefully surveyed 30-odd villages on the Fleurieu Peninsular and through the Adelaide Hills. Chose Woodside Lodge because of location, variety of villas available and known track record of the management company. Everything needed is available in Woodside or nearby and there’s very easy access to the city. It is a great place to live and I couldn’t be happier!”

“One of the things that has impressed us about the McLaren Vale Lodge as new comers has been the detail to the neat and well kept appearance of the surrounds and units. The tenants contribution with their individual gardens adds to the appeal. It is a relaxed atmosphere where the staff are friendly and obliging.”

“When Barbara and I decided it was time to sell our home at Tennyson and move into a Retirement Village, the big problem was to where. After looking at some around the Adelaide area, and not liking any, we thought of the McLaren Vale area which we had often visited.
We made an appointment to see Michael and Lyn at McLaren Vale Lodge, who were extremely helpful. The process of selling our home and moving into the village went very smoothly. To come to the completely renovated unit with all new kitchen, bathroom, new carpets and paint through-out was very pleasing (The day we moved in, the unit was cleaned throughout, with floors, cupboards and windows spotless and a welcoming card, flowers and a bottle of wine to greet us). We both, as well as family and friends, love the open spaces between the units as well as the well maintained gardens. We find the staff are always helpful and friendly, which makes it a joy to live at the McLaren Vale Lodge. Barbara and I are extremely happy and glad we chose McLaren Vale Lodge to live.”

"Our son-in-law suggested looking at Woodside Lodge which we had not heard of. After visiting the complex we felt it was just right for us. The day after we moved in we were settled and content. We still are."

"On becoming widowed at 67 I needed security and to still have the comforts of home and I was absolutely delighted when my family found a unit at "Gables of St Morris". I grew up in the eastern suburbs and feel like I have come home. I have a lovely 2 bedroom unit, drive in lock up garage, a manageable front and back garden and wonderfully caring neighbours. I can also be in the city by bus in 15 minutes and to the beach in 40 minutes."
